Canada Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots (2025)

The IRCC has announced a new pilot program for Child Caregiver and Home Support Worker with job offer (full-time permanent position) in the field to immigrate to Canada.

• For in-Canada case, application submission starts on March 31, 2025
• For overseas case, application submission date to be determined

Highlights:

• ONE (1) Step to PR
• Requirements relatively LOW
• Employer includes “Organization” now (with at least 1-year active business in the field)

Requirements:

• With a full-time permanent job offer from Canada employer (private household or organization), work location cannot be inside an institutionalized setting, senior home, daycare etc.
• Language: CLB / NCLC Level 4 (on all 4 subjects)
• Education: Secondary school (in Canada or overseas)
• Work Experience OR Training (Canadian or Overseas):
  • 6 months full-time continuous work experience in the field (within past 3 years) OR
  • 6 months full-time post-secondary training / education in the field (within past 2 years)
